Ed Block Courage Award Foundation

What is the Ed Block Courage Award Foundation? They are dedicated to supporting the well-being of abused, neglected, and at-risk children throughout our Courage House National Support Network for Kids. Through our partnership with the National Football League (NFL), the Foundation cultivates awareness at each Courage House and helps to raise funds for their programs and initiatives.

In addition to doing something for a great cause these trophies allow us  to showcase our talents by letting us combine the additive manufacturing industry with traditional manufacturing.

Creating the Award

Since 2019 RePliForm has had the honor and privilege of electroplating the trophies for this wonderful organization.

Step 1: Take line drawings of NFL team logos to create a CAD design.

Step 2: Contour the logo to fit 3D scanned NFL helmet

Step 3: Have our friends at ProtoCam 3D print logos through the MultiJet Fusion process.

Step 4: Clean/Prep Helmet for logos

Step 5: Adhere logos to helmet

Step 6: Electroplate Helmet

Step 7: Give helmet to Ed Block for completion

Step 8: Give recipient their award
